8th GRADE SCHEDULING
I mportant information has been sent home through the eighth grade e-newsletter. 

Students have been meeting with high school counselors regarding registration and scheduling for their high school classes. 

A parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 9, at 6:00 p.m. in the CSHS cafeteria. All eighth grade students and their parents are encouraged to attend. Counselors will present information about graduation requirements, course options, and scheduling procedures.

5TH GRADE CAMP
For information about fifth grade camp, permission slips, medical paperwork, and payments, contact Mr. Boldizar.

COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS
Middle school students interested in taking College Credit courses during the summer of 2017 (for the 2017-2018 school year) should plan to attend the:

Students need to come with parents! 

*** Students MUST apply to Stark State prior to scheduling, in order to take the ACCUPLACER Test at Canton South.

*** Once an Stark State ID (SSID) number is assigned, families should contact Nicky Boyd to schedule a date and time to take the Accuplacer test. 

NEW dates have been added for Accuplacer Testing:

February 9
February 13
February 23

Each session will be held at the CSHS library at 2:45 p.m. 

Students who cannot attend these testing dates can test anytime at Stark State.

Willy Wonka Jr. will be the FMMS theater production this spring! 

Students in grades 5-8 are welcome. Roles for students include singing, dancing, acting, set design and more.   

Sign-Ups are in the FMMS office.

SPELLING BEE CHAMP
Congratulations to eighth grade student, Bobby Freshour, our FMMS Spelling Bee Champion! 

Bobby will compete on March 4 at the regional Spelling Bee held at Glen Oak High School. 

Runner up was fifth grade student, AJ Pierson. 
PARENT MEETINGS
The FMMS Parent Service Group meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, at 6:00 p.m. 

The Citizen's Advisory meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 16, at 6:00 p.m.
