Every now and again I like to send what we call a shout-out edition of the newsletter. These help friends and colleagues inform you of events important to woodworkers. These events do not necessarily have anything to do with Hock Tools, but they serve our collective woodworking community, so that's good enough for me.

You may already know I've recently joined the board of The Krenov Foundation, and it is my great pleasure to be part of a non-profit that raises dollars to hand over to hardworking woodworkers and students of woodworking.

This summer, TKF is offering a Professional Development Award of $2,500 to an emerging fine woodworker who is taking this profession to the next level as an artist-in-residence, or as a visiting scholar at a nationally recognized woodworking school or craft center.

If that shoe fits one of your feet, please check out The Krenov Foundation's website. We've also included all the information you need below in this Shout-Out Edition of Sharp & to the Point.

Of course if there's anything you need from Hock Tools, please let me know.

Sincerely,
