QUEEN BEE CROWNED
After 16 intense rounds, Clear Creek ISD has named the 2017 District Spelling Bee champion. Fourth grader Amelia Young of Goforth Elementary won the first place trophy and Fadhil Mohommad, a fourth grade student at Weber Elementary, took second. Young will advance to the Houston Public Media Spelling Bee which will be televised live on PBS April 1, 2017. The Houston Public Media Spelling Bee is the second largest in the country, with more than 1,000 schools from 42 Texas counties competing to advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee, the nation's long-standing educational competition since 1925.

NATIONAL SIGNING DAY
Clear Creek ISD had 27 student athletes across all five comprehensive high schools sign their commitments to higher education for National Signing Day 2017. Congratulations to all!
100 DAYS SMARTER
Students and staff across the District celebrated the 100th day of school by showing off their creative outfits and held special celebrations to mark the milestone.

PK-12 CHARACTER SPIRIT
Clear Springs High School football players lent their spirit to a Character Rally at Ross Elementary to help set an example for the younger students. They started the morning off by opening doors in the car-rider line and then participated in different events throughout the rally.
