Digital Learning Day 2017
Digital Learning Day is right around the corner on February 23, 2017. The Michigan Department of Education and TRIG would like to work collaboratively with our partners to spread the message that "Every Day is Digital Learning Day". To start this awareness campaign we will be using a new social media tool to spread the word. It is called Thunder Clap. We hope that you will join us by signing onto Thunderclap at
https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/51899-digital-learning-day-is-feb-23 and help us promote digital learning by sharing with your colleagues and friends.
How can you help?
Visit
https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/51899-digital-learning-day-is-feb-23 and choose which social media platforms you'd like to engage with! Then, add your name to the Thunderclap. On Friday, January 27, 2017 a post announcing this year's Digital Learning Day will automatically publish to the accounts you selected and to those of everyone who signed up. It's that simple-add your name and the posts will be generated for you!
What else can I do?
Send an e-blast to your network inviting them to sign-up for the Digital Learning Day Thunderclap, which will share this message as well.
Share your own message of dedication to Every Day is Digital Learning Day.
Don't forget to use #DLDay when posting, tweeting, and snapping.
What is a Thunderclap?
Thunderclap is a web service that allows people to automatically post a single message to their social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, and more) at a single, designated time. Think of it as an online "flash mob" - a collaborative action drawing attention to a specific cause. (
