Trainor Publishes New Novel
Th
e Mountain Goat is the new novel by Jim Trainor, retired priest of the diocese. Trainor brings his experience both as an ordained priest and scientist to inform his novels and engage the reader. The Mountain Goat follows Ryan and Amanda on an exploration of nature, science and art, life's meaning, and love. But also leads them face-to-face with a deadly threat far greater than they can imagine. Read more here...
Prayers for Clergy
Many diocesan clergy will join the Pre-Lenten Clergy Retreat at the Norbertine Center for Spirituality, De Pere from February 20-22. Members of the diocese are ask to make special petition for clergy on on these days. A suggested prayer is number 9 found on page 817 of the Book of Common Prayer.

Almighty and everlasting God, from whom cometh every good and perfect gift: Send down upon our bishops, and other clergy, and upon the congregations committed to their charge, the healthful Spirit of thy grace: and, that they may truly please thee, pour upon them the continual dew of thy blessing. Grant this, O Lord, for the honor of our Advocate and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.
