What do you know about Moroccan cuisine? Here at home,

tajine have found their way into many of our kitchens, as have saffron, mint, cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, ginger, cloves, coriander, nutmeg...and the list goes on. Situated at the confluence of some of the world's most delicious culinary traditions, Moroccan cuisine is a blend of Berber, Mediterranean, Arabic, and Spanish food cultures.
Whether you love lamb, beef, chicken, and seafood, or you prefer to keep it vegetarian, you will find a broad variety of hearty, flavorful salads, soups, and main courses. Dessert is quite healthy, with fresh, seasonal fruit as the most popular way to end a meal - and a few guiltier options, such as Zucre Coco, or coconut fudge cakes. Yum!

Once in a lifetime opportunity to see an extensive, private art collection in a beautiful Bethesda home and garden! Recently exhibited in the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the collection features Picasso, O'Keeffe, Joseph Stella, Dubuffet, Léger, Katz, Alice Neel, among many others. Our gracious, knowledgeable hosts will serve as our docents.
