HIGH SPEED RUNS WITH HURLEY HAYWOOD RETURN TO AMELIA CONCOURS PORSCHE DRIVING EXPERIENCE

The popular Porsche Driving Experiencereturns on Friday, March 10th as part of the 2017 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance weekend. Also returning are the high speed runs with Le Mans and Daytona winner Hurley Haywood that were such a popular component of the Porsche Driving Experience.
Ron Davis, Porsche Driving Experience Rally Master explains: "Last year the Department of Defense performed construction work on NAS JAX. That prevented us from conducting the high speed runs on the NAS Mayport runways. This year the runway updates are complete and Porsche speed is back!"

In addition to the high performance, high speed driving exercises at NAS Mayport, the 2017 Amelia Concours Porsche Driving Experience will also visit two private local car collections (with a guided tour of each).
The Porsche Driving Experience starts at 7:00 AM at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport and costs $250 for two people in one car. Additional participants per car may be added for $125 each. All tickets are nonrefundable. A driver and a navigator with minimum ages of 21 are required. Any legally licensed roadworthy passenger vehicle may apply for entry: Porsche ownership is not required.
