A Note from Frankie

Dear Friends,

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, it's the season of love. Yoga teaches us that love is our highest form of intelligence.  In a discussion with the Dalai Lama, B.K.S. Iyengar reminds us that Patanjali wrote in the Yoga Sutras that the highest knowing is in the heart, not the mind. We don't have to look far to understand the best course of action in any situation for the answer lies within. Our daily practices of yoga, meditation or Tai Chi bring us to that quiet center inside of ourselves where our own inner guru resides.  Here we have clarity, compassion and wisdom.  Romantic love might be Cupid's only aim but the arrow of the yogi penetrates deeper and wider bringing loving kindness, compassion, companionship, enjoyment and play.  There is so much love around you! As you celebrate your relationships this year, remember loved ones romantic and platonic. Think of the people that bring you joy. Spend time with your animal companions - amazing givers of unconditional love. Let your practice guide you to experience the presence of love in your life. We are never really alone. The Upanishads teach us to "walk together, talk together."  How can you open your heart to yourself, your loved ones and your world?  For in loving others we step into a vibration of love that wraps around and embraces our own heart. We need nothing in return.

In February, Satya Life Yoga truly has something for everyone. Build dynamic strength and agility in the Core Power Workshop on Saturday, February 11th. Treat yourself and someone you love to Relaxation Partner Yoga Monday, February 13th - just in time for Valentine's Day.   Fly your yoga in Aerial.  Get a quick yoga fix for your hips and hamstrings with Yogabarre (only 45 minutes!). Cultivate your chi in the practices of Tai Chi & Qigong. Develop conscious alignment for you and your students in the "Heart of Adjustments" Workshop.  I'll be there sharing the diversity of these practices with you throughout February. As you come to the mat, at the studio or at home, let your heart be known.

"Love is our true destiny.
We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone - we find it with another."

Namaste,
Frankie

New Intermediate Qigong Course
6 Week Series starts 03/29/2017
Wednesdays 7:15-8:45 PM

A rare chance to study this profound practice of Qigong on a higher level. In Intermediate Qigong, you will learn Small Heaven, also called The Microcosmic Orbit.

This practice is of extreme importance in building the foundation for cultivating energy in the Inner Dan Arts. The Inner Dan Arts is a system of Qigong developed by Master Tianyou Hao and taught by Master Frankie Hart.

Consistent practice of Small Heaven opens the paths of the Ren and Du Mai, the main channels of Yin and Yang energy. The stimulation and free circulation of energy through these channels promotes the flow of energy and blood through the body. Qigong also improves the concentration of your mind producing a profound calming effect. This quiet mind will positively affect your heart rhythm, brain waves, blood pressure, muscle contraction, and breathing. Even more significantly, your mind can then become the master of your energy. As the Mind leads the Qi, the Qi follows the Mind and you can use this Qi to harmonize your life and heal any part of the body.

Qigong practice teaches us to "Get Qi, Feel Qi, Move Qi."

Fees: $120.00, $60.00 for repeating Intermediate students.

For more information call 863-802-9642.
