What is the Build with Strength Program? Wonder why we've seen an unusual amount of wood low-rise construction? What can we in the concrete industry do to make sure we have our best foot forward? Come to this CPG Members Only meeting.
Feb. 16, 2017
9 am to 10:30 am
CPG Conference Room
This meeting is for any CPG member with an interest in Concrete Low-Rise Construction (remember every new building needs a concrete parking lot!). We are expecting our CPG Contractors and Ready Mix Member Companies to send at least one person to represent your company. There is no cost to attend, and the meeting will be short.
National Ready Mixed Concrete Association's, Michael Wymant, MEB, LEED AP+ OM, BD+C, Senior Director, Building Innovations, will explain the intent behind the "Build with Strength" Program. Mr. Wymant will show us the tools they've developed for us to use, talk about the success of the program and how we can adapt it to fit our Kansas City needs.

This seminar is designed just for architects and how concrete can be beautiful, versitile, durable, etc. for thier low-rise construction projects.
Then Michael Wyamant and Christy Martin will be doing a presentation at 4 pm for the local Structural Engineering Association for Kansas and Missouri. This seminar and networking happy hour will be tuned just for the engineering audience. CPG would like to have some CPG members join in this opportunity with the SEAKM group.
