Clint_s Controls Corner
Each month, our Lighting Controls Department Manager, Clint Conley, offers insight and advice about lighting controls. Clint, a licensed professional electrical engineer, brings over 15 years of construction, engineering, and lighting controls experience to the table. He takes the often confusing topic of lighting controls, and presents information in a straightforward and concise manner.

This month, Clint is sharing an article which offers a comprehensive overview of remote system access.  Having the ability to have a technician remotely service a system will minimize any downtime and will make it easier for system adjustments to be made. The end result is a more reliable system that minimizes the impact of system problems, and allows for a greater degree of customization to tailor the system operation to the business needs in the facility. But, along with the benefits of having remote system access comes potential downsides.
