Purdue Wine Grape Team Newsletter

Dear Indiana Wine Grape Friends,

We hope you all had a safe and enjoyable Halloween.

Have your evaluated your vineyard management program and ordered your pesticides for the spring? If not, now is the time. Cool temperatures allow products to persist longer, making fall herbicide application a great way to get ahead of spring weed problems. To prevent spring delays, make sure you thoroughly clean your sprayers by breaking down the system, removing nozzles, hoses and valves, and drain the system. Be sure to follow the manufacturers guidelines for lubricating the pump.

Check out how the Purdue Wine and Grape team is fueling Indiana's Wine Industry.

Do you know of any wineries or vineyards that are less than a year old? We would love to hear from them!
