The Crossing @ Christmas 2017

Motherhood, from the perspective of home, looking out across the landscapes and timespans over which our children must travel. Poignant reflections on the Nativity are interspersed with contemporary works by Gavin Bryars, Gabriel Jackson, Robert Convery, and Toivo Tulev, with a world premiere by Michael Gilbertson, setting Nobel laureate WisÅ‚awa Szymborska's poem, "Born."

The Fifth Century:
Grammy-nominated for 2018 Best Choral Performance

Our second Grammy-nominated CD, Gavin Bryars'
The Fifth Century, is an ambitious work for choir and saxophone quartet that sets text from 17th-century English poet and theologian Thomas Traherne's
Centuries of Meditations.  Premiered with PRISM Quartet in 2014, the album was named one of The Top 10 Classical Recordings by The Chicago Tribune in 2016. The Fifth Century is released on the ECM New Series and marks the first full ECM album from Gavin in decades.
