THIS SUNDAY, February 05, 2017
We are beginning our Month of Love with some focused Ho'oponopono, the Hawaiian ancient spiritual practice of "making things right." Is there anyone or thing in your life right now that you have felt judgment toward? Angst, aggravation or anger? Disappointment or worry? We are a collective consciousness and what we think and focus upon has creation energy. We'll take a look at Ho'oponopono and then give ourselves some time in a serene meditative state to "work it" and thus, work "out" the appearance of any possible angsty kinks in our lives. And if you are in total peace and love right now, that's also wonderful -- come share those good vibrations! Music this Sunday by the gifted and delightful Sean Arington. We'd love to see you!

Join us in helping those local organizations that are doing great good in our community.
The Unity Athens Annual "Town Hall" Membership Meeting will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26 after the service, starting at about 12:45. Lunch is included at no cost. All are welcome to participate, comment, ask questions, and learn about our growth plans, financial status and new Unity Expansion Ministry requirements. Confirmed members will be able to vote on candidates for open positions on the Board of Trustees.
GOT TIME FOR LUNCH? Join Rev. Bronte & other Unity-minded folks for coffee, tea or lunch plus positive conversation at scheduled "Unity Lunches" on Wed., Feb. 22 and Wed., March 1st from 1:30 to 2:30 at Jason's Deli on Hawthorne. Let us know if you're interested -- or just show up!

LAW OF ATTRACTION

Starting Wednesday evening, February 22, from 6:00 to 7:30 and going for 5 weeks, we will study
THE FIVE PRINCIPLES by Ellen Debenport. Each week will cover one principle as we delve deeper into powerful ways to make them work in our lives. While this is an excellent course for new folks to learn more about Unity, the book is complex and rich enough to intrigue those who've studied New Thought for years. We will meet at Unity Athens. Facilitated by Rev. Bronte. Donations accepted and appreciated. Books are available for sale in our bookstore. (These classes also count toward "New Member" requirements.)
New "Collage for Life" workshops with John Bowman, once a month starting February 12 from 1:00 to 3:00. Would you like to go beyond once-a-year vision boards and start "picturing" even more powerful ways of living, using Unity principles, and feeling the connection of Spirit in all areas of your life? Bring a lunch to eat after the service and before the workshop or run out to get a quick meal. Donations appreciated.

What is a VISION 2017 Letter? We provide free paper and envelopes or use your own. Write down what you'd like to see manifest during 2017 and beyond. Use detail and think about what it will feel like to have these dreams come true. Seal your letter in a self-addressed envelope and leave it in the special box at Unity Athens. We hold it for a year, pray over the box, and mail it back to you, unopened, at the end of 2017.

The Vagina Monologues, Feb. 16-19, 2017.
An annual classic to support the work of Project Safe. Show times are at 8 p.m February 16th-18th and 3 p.m on February 19th at the UGA Chapel. Tickets are $15 and are available online or at the door. All proceeds benefit Project Safe's work to end domestic violence through crisis intervention, on-going support, systems change advocacy, prevention, and education.
