Angel Tree Breakfast & Party
Saturday, December 9, 9:30 AM, The River Room

All week long Angel Tree volunteers have been shopping, wrapping, and decorating for the Angel Tree Celebration tomorrow morning.  We will enjoy a delicious home-cooked breakfast and celebrate with cookie decorating, story time, live music, and lots of fun and fellowship.  Questions,  contact Kim Butler  for more information.
New Creation Care Committee
The Creation Care committee, which emphasizes the importance of being good stewards of God's creation, has been designated a Committee of the Vestry of Saint Paul's.  Our Night on the River Celebration in October was a big success, with more than 150 people in attendance.  Our recently completed eight-week course had an average of twenty participants on Sunday mornings.   At our November meeting, we discussed ideas for future formation classes, including documentary films, outside speakers with expertise in environmental sciences and practices, and publications exploring more deeply the topics presented in the House of Bishops'  Life of Grace booklet.  We are hoping to host a community event which promotes a better understanding of humanity's dependence on God's creation for sustenance and survival.  Our next meeting will be at 5:30 PM on January 3, 2018 in the church conference room.  All are welcome!  For more information, contact Bryan Haltermann, chairperson .
