Sign Up: 2018 Committee and Workgroups Forming Now
2018 NASCA Committees and Workgroups are forming now.
You can go here to
read a brief description of each committee or workgroup and
complete the volunteer sign up form
.
Participating in committees and workgroups is a great way to get the most out of your membership by engaging in projects that best fit your interest, expertise and schedule. You will grow professionally, network with peers from across the country and help contribute to the development of events (such as our Spring Conference and the 2018 Institute) and research products that will be most beneficial to your organization.
To facilitate active participation and obtain quorums as needed, we are asking everyone to complete a fresh sign up, even if you participated on a committee or workgroup in 2017. All NASCA state and corporate members are welcome and encouraged to sign up. This includes state chief administrators, deputy directors or senior staff for state members, and any representative from a corporate partner. Proxy attendees may participate as needed. Deadline extended: Please complete your volunteer form by December 13
.
Please contact Kayla Leslie directly if you would like to discuss 2018 opportunities.

Department of Administrative Services
State of Utah
- How long have you been in your position? Just one year.

- What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time? Pin Pinterest recipes, emergency preparedness, camping and travel articles or hair cuts or styles thinking someday that I'll cook the food, buy the emergency or camping equipment, do the hairstyle or travel to those places (and sometimes I actually do some of those!)
-
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
Visit Machu Picchu (scheduled for May 2018), travel through Scotland, Ireland
and England, leave a legacy of good works.
