CSA Week 17

This week's winter squash is named for a pasta because its meat comes out in long, noodle-like strands. Most people roast spaghetti squash and then serve it with sauce or other toppings. It works best to cut the squash the short way, not the long way. Click here for squash-roasting instructions from Beth at Eat Within Your Means.

Fall Roosteraunt schedule: During the month of September, the Roosteraunt is open Friday through Monday (closed Tuesday through Thursday).

Please also take a look around for any empty CSA bins that may be hiding in the garage or pantry. We'd be glad to get those back before the last week of the season. Thanks.

Week 17 Shares Include: spaghetti squash, sweet corn, kale, leeks, tomatoes, apples, potatoes.

Pick-your-own bonus: 6 apples
