Get to Know Your New Committee Members:
|
Over the next few months we'll be introducing our new Zone 3 Committee Members! They are already working hard for the zone. Take a minute to get to know them, and stay tuned for more introductions!
Oliver Kennedy, Chair
Oliver, of Brookeville, Maryland,
is a horse show announcer, TV commentator, competition manager, "R" and FEI Level 3 jumper judge, and he operates ESP Farm with his wife and son. He's been involved with multiple committees in the sport including the USHJA Jumper Working Group, Competition Management Committee and is president of the Maryland Horse Shows Association.
Deloise Noble-Strong, Member
Deloise, of Ruxton, Maryland, has been involved as an owner, rider and/or trainer in the hunter/jumper, eventing and dressage disciplines since she was in sixth grade. She hopes to make life easier for USHJA members as part of the committee by keeping members informed. In addition to horses, Deloise enjoys mountain biking and writing. She has cats named Morkey and Squidley. If she could have dinner with any equestrian, she would choose Federico Caprilli.
Sandra Ruiz, Member
Sandra, of Culpeper, Virginia, has been involved in the sport for nearly 50 years as a trainer, rider and owner. She has served as the Chef d'Equipe for the Zone 3 NAJYRC and Prix des States teams. Her goals as a committee member are to make sure every horse and rider has the opportunity to achieve their goals within their ability and talent. In addition to horses, Sandra enjoys cooking and swimming.
If she could have dinner with any equestrian, she would choose Frances Rowe.
