Happy New Year
An exciting year ahead for Cumberland

2016 was a landmark year for the newly-formed Cumberland Council and  2017 is expected to be just as exciting, as further work takes place to  create a solid platform to welcome a newly-elected council in September.

Over the last 6 months a major focus was increasing the amount we talk to you to find out exactly what you want for your local area in the future. Council ran a number of focus groups, surveys and forums and received over 2,500 responses.

This year we will continue listening to what you want for your local area as we start to transform your input into real services, programs and outcomes.

We look forward to doing this with you over 2017 so we can build a stronger Cumberland that truly represents you.
