How Should the Church Respond to Current Events in America?  
Please join us at 10:45AM on Sunday morning in the church for Faith & Practice.  We'll devote that time to having a conversation with each other about current events.  Share your thoughts with the clergy and each other as we move into our future as a parish and a country.

Thank you to everyone who contributed last month! This coming Sunday we will c ollect salad dressings, condiments, and cooking oils. We also gladly accept cash donations which will be used to purchase fresh produce.

Super Bowl Party! Sunda y, February 5, 5:0 0PM  
The Youth Ministry Team led by Frances DeBlasio invites you and yours to a Super Bowl party at the DeBlasio home. Please bring a snack to share. We'll have games and great food for those less inclined to watch football, and a variety of crafts and service projects. All ages welcome; if possible, please RSVP to Leah Romanelli so we can get a general head count (if you won't know until the last minute-just show up!)
Our Women's Retreat will be February 10-11 at Techny Towers. Our theme is discernment and how to best navigate our lives in changing times.
We will gather at 5PM on Friday, with closing liturgy ending by 3PM Saturday. All private rooms and baths, $125 includes room and all meals, and scholarships are available. Our Retreat Leader is Deacon Heath Missner. For more info link here.

Please bring a new (or gently used) teddy bear to church on Sunday, February 12. 
Teddy bears will be blessed at all three services - 8:00AM, 9:30AM and 6:00PM - after which, they will be donated to the Department of Children and Family Services. Your donated teddy bears will serve as gifts for abused or displaced children.

If you do not have a teddy bear to donate you can buy your teddy bears at Christ Church! Bears are between $5-25.

Sunday morning faith formation for grades seven-twelve

All youth are strongly encouraged to participate in Faith & Practice this Sunday and sit with their parents or Leah Romanelli. We will be discussing how should the church respond to current events in America? Your thoughts are important and should be included in the discussion, so please participate!
Youth Mission Trip 2017 - July 9-17
All rising 7th-12th grade students are invited to participate in this year's mission experience. Young adults age of 18-20 are also welcome as youth trip leaders. Learn more...

 Exciting News From Grace House
Residents of Grace House will be featured on Channel 32 (FOX) News in a story by Larry Yellen on Wednesday, February 8 at 9:00PM and on Thursday, February 9 at 8:15AM.
 
The women courageously share their journey from incarceration through the transformative support they are receiving now at Grace House. Our parishioner Erwin Mayer, St. Leonard's Ministries Executive Director, and Holly Christian, Program Director, are also interviewed to offer insights.
