In celebration of our hometown Atlanta Falcons playing in Sunday's Super Bowl, students may wear shirts/jerseys for the Falcons (or other NFL teams) with uniform bottom or jeans to school on Friday, Feb. 3. If students would rather, they also may wear approved Mount Pisgah Spirit Wear tops with uniform bottom or jeans. (Note: students may wear New England Patriots shirts or jerseys at their own risk.)

5th Grade Shadow Day

Earlier this week, Middle School's Peer Leaders gave 5th grade students a warm welcome on a chilly morning! The current 6th graders showed the rising 6th graders what a day in the Middle is all about - independence, responsibility, academics with the #MSFT - and of course, recess! Please see a photo gallery of the day at PisgahPhotos.com (Password: patriots)
Defensive Driving Reminder

A safety note from Campus Resource Officer Jim Lee:

One of officer Lee's duties at Mount Pisgah is to work traffic control during peak hours to help ensure the safe and timely ingress and egress at the campus. Recently, Officer Lee and other Mount Pisgah officers have had increasing concerns over the lack of defensive driving on the part of the student body. On a daily basis, cars and trucks are traveling at too high of a rate of speed in the parking lot with an obvious lack of regard for the safety and well-being of students or other vehicles. We cannot overstate the importance of driving defensively ALL THE TIME. A single mistake could have devastating consequences.

Officer Lee is lawfully charged to write Georgia Traffic Code or Criminal Code violations, as warranted. If any student or family member would like the opportunity to speak with Officer Lee to gain a policeman's view of the ramifications of reckless driving, he welcomes the chance to speak with you. Safety is a top priority at our school and we will continue to monitor the driving habits of the Mount Pisgah family.  Please take time to discuss this concern with your students and family members.
Parenting Workshop: Finding God's Fingerprints

Wednesday Feb. 8 | 8:45-10:45 a.m. | South Hall

When we share why we love and follow Jesus with our children, they will begin to understand they can trust God no matter what - even when things are hard, scary, or unfair.  During this special Engage Parent Workshop for Mount Pisgah families,  MPCS  teacher Jenny Duke and her family will demonstrate how telling their stories has grown their faith in Christ. Gather tools to help your family identify and tell your own stories for generations to come. Click the video link above to hear more from Ms. Duke's heart.

Breakfast will be provided with reservation. Please RSVP for the workshop no later than Friday Feb. 3.
