Norm has over 26 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and has managed over $50 million dollars of construction projects. He has held a general contractor's license since 2010 and is a certified LEED Accredited Professional. As Vice President/Project Manager, Gentry will provide team leadership throughout the pre-construction and construction phases from inception through warranty. Norm will take a leadership role in managing the client relationship and project resources. Gentry is a member of Collier Country Development Services Advisory Council and the Collier Building Industry Association. We are excited to welcome Norm Gentry to the [BUILD] family.

groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on Avida Senior Living, a resort-style community for assisted living, independent living and memory care in Fort Myers, FL.
Located on a 32-acre site at 7650 Gladiolus Drive, adjacent to the 279-acre Lakes Regional Park in South Fort Myers, the $95-million development will feature 125 assisted living apartments, 35 memory care apartments, 272 independent living apartments and 28 cottage-style residences. The 488,265-square-foot campus will provide residents with a bar bistro, private theater, dining hall, pools and spa, four open-air courtyards, and other amenity areas.

Naples Reserve
held an official ribbon-cutting with The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce for its $7 million Island Club, created by award-winning developer iStar. The Island Club features the 5,160-square-foot clubhouse and adjacent 3,500-square-foot fitness center, along with indoor and alfresco gathering areas, including the fireside grand hall and Latitudes Cafe, wraparound porches, an open-air tiki hut, and sunny and shaded spots around the resort-style pool and on the beach.

At this event, Lely, Immokalee, and Palmetto Ridge High School Construction & Carpentry Academy students along with Engineering Academy Students and students seeking trades and skills job opportunities in the county, will visit display booths to discuss opportunities with local businesses. The students will also participate in hands-on demonstrations with a variety of different professionally skilled personnel within these businesses. Participating students will range in grade levels 10 through 12. Some juniors and seniors may be immediately available for On the Job Training (OJT), Internships (summer) or employment (if they are graduating this May).
