Thank you to the people who made our Catholic Schools Week celebrations possible: musicians at Mass, Parents Club and many volunteers for the staff lunch, and Student Council for the fun assembly.

BOX TOPS Needed
We are collecting Box Tops for Education. Please clip them and bring them to the school lobby. Mr Hawksford’s 8th graders will be happy to organize them into tidy bundles of fifty, each of which is worth $5.Essentially, free money for St. Matt’s!

Basketball
The 6th grade girls finished their regular season undefeated (8-0)! They are now going to the playoffs and the St. Matthew School community is invited to watch the game on Saturday. The girls are playing at St. Anthony, at 11:30 a.m. If we win, they play again on Sunday at St. John, at 2:30 p.m.
The 7th grade girls have also made it to the playoffs and will be playing on Saturday at St. Louise, at 9:00 a.m.

There is a school group signed up for the Bubble run in Everett on
August 29th
...a super fun 5k!
We have registered under team name St Matthew Thunder. We would love to have others join us. This is a totally fun (un-timed) run with lots of bubbles!
The cost is $50.
