Hello All!

Customer Feature

Check out these gorgeous pictures that a customer sent us. The customer also happens to be our go-to photographer :-) They came up with the design and Tyler, with the help of his go-to metal worker, made it happen! We love how this table turned out, and I for one am counting down the days until I can replicate it in my home.

Lititz Christian School Gala

March 18th is the annual Lititz Christian School Gala. Two of our five employees graduated from LC and another employee has three children attending school there (with another in the fall), so to say that we love and support what they do is an understatement. This year we decided to donate this beautiful White Pine coffee table.

The Gala is being held at Brick Gables in Lititz this year. If you would like more information about the Gala or how you can be a part, please contact the school or visit their website.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Fuel Oil Shortage Closes Warwick Schools
Warwick schools reopened Tuesday after a state-mandated three-day shutdown to conserve fuel, but Warwick may not be out of the woods (or ice) yet.
Superintendent H. Dale Winger said that all school districts in the county were informed there is a continuing problem with fuel oil deliveries, and that he "would not be surprised" if the schools are shut down two or three times more this winter.
Local oil suppliers, still on 1973 allocations, are having difficulty getting oil deliveries from refineries because many of the oil barges are iced in, he reported. The suppliers are already running short, and may be out of oil by the end of February if the extreme cold weather keeps up.

An Actually Funny Joke
(Editor's note: in culling the pages of the Record-Express and its precursors, we come across many, many, many instances of short fillers intended to amuse. They rarely come close. We share this item with you not for its knee-slapper quality, but to give you an idea of the bleakness of our rejects.)
"Tommy," said the schoolmaster, "Is there any difference between the words 'sufficient' and 'enough'?
"Yes," replied the youngster. "Sufficient is when father thinks I have eaten enough cake, and enough is when I think I have had sufficient."

Constable Nabs Wrong Man
On Monday afternoon Constable Hacker arrested a man in front of H. P. Fry's store whom he believed to be a party for whom a reward of $500 had been offered. Squire Reidenbach was at a sale, but was sent for and upon his return soon discovered that the man did not answer the description furnished to Constable Hacker. The stranger said his name was Frank Thompson and he came from Adamstown. At present he and his wife are staying with John Kissinger at Owl Hill. Jacob Beck, Frank Downey, John Krall and John Howard who were in the office all testified that the man's account seemed to be correct. He seemed very much astonished to find himself in the clutches of the officers of the law as he said he had never committed a crime. It was plainly a case of mistaken identity and the Squire dismissed the man without further ceremony.
