Parking Forum Planned

There are 3803 parking places in downtown Burlington, and it is the work of Downtown Partners to make sure as many of them are filled as possible. At the same time, we need to improve their accessibility, visibility, and availability for employees, visitors, and residents alike.

With the comprehensive downtown parking study completed last year, the City has created a parking advisory committee that will present a public informational session at the Burlington Public Library on Thursday, February 16 at 5:30. This is your opportunity to learn and ask questions about parking downtown, both at present and in the future.
Farmers Market Vendors Sought

Although it's still winter, Downtown Partners is already looking forward for the 2017 season of the Jefferson St. Farmers Market - with new extended hours! The market will take place in the 300-500 blocks of Jefferson on Thursdays from 4:30 to 730 PM beginning May 4.

The Jefferson St. Farmers Market steering committee is offering a discount to returning seasonal vendors who sign up in advance, as well as for new seasonal vendors - only $105 a space for the entire 22 week season. They are especially interested in local and specialty produce, handcrafted items, and prepared food vendors.

If you are interested in being part of the region's most successful farmers market, download the application and guidelines at GreaterBurlington.com, or call Downtown Partners at 319-208-0056.
