This past weekend's spring-like weather brought lots of shoppers to the Ocean Pines Farmers Market on Saturday, February 18. The market is open year-round every Saturday from 8am-1pm in White Horse Park.

The Ocean Pines Farmers Market is now accepting spring/summer 2017 vendor applications! Visit OceanPines.org for more information.

Sports Core Pool Closure
The Sports Core Pool will be closed beginning Sunday, March 5 at 2pm through Tuesday, March 7 for cleaning. It will reopen Wednesday, March 8. Please note that this is a change from the information that was printed in the Winter Activity Guide.

Our adult dodgeball league has been enjoying the new gym floors at the Community Center! Have you checked them out? They're beautiful! To keep them that way, please remember that only water is allowed. Also, please throw away empty drink bottles to keep the area clean. Thank you!

For ages 2 & 3. This indoor soccer clinic will focus on socialization, simple soccer fundamentals and fun!

Commissioner Bertino Town Hall Meeting

Ocean Pines Library

County Commissioner Chip Bertino will provide information on issues and developments occurring within the district and the county. He will also give an overview of the matters dealt with by the county since he took office in December 2014. Health Officer Debbie Goeller and Diana  Purnell, vice president of the Worcester County Commissioners, will be the guest speakers. Commissioner President Jim Bunting will join Commissioner Bertino during the question-and-answer portion of the meeting.

Republican Women of Worcester County Meeting

America's Boating Course
Begins February 27     6:30pm
Ocean Pines Library
$15 per person / free for middle and high school students
Presented by Ocean City Power Squadron, a unit of the United States Power Squadrons. This eight-hour course will be given each consecutive Monday starting on February 27 and continuing on March 6, 13 and 20; an exam will be given on March 20. Registration on February 27 will be at 6:30pm; the class will be held from 7-9pm each evening.  Anyone born after July 1, 1972 must satisfactorily complete a safe boating class to operate a recreational vessel or personal watercraft in the state of Maryland. The course will cover basic boat handling, navigation, federal and state regulations, rules of the road, aids to navigation, required equipment and more.
