The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
"Christopher Boone is 15. He knows 'all the countries of the world and their capital cities and every prime number up to 7,507.' He lives in Swindon with his father and Toby, his pet rat. He abhors all yellow and brown things, thinks he would make a good astronaut, and has never been further than the end of the road on his own until his discovery of the 'murder' of his neighbor's dog turns him into an amateur detective."
- Charlotte Moore, The Guardian
The Laramie Project
by Moises Kaufman:
A Staged Reading
Sunday, Feb. 19th at 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall
In October 1998 in the middle of the prairie outside Laramie, Wyoming, Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old student at the University of Wyoming, was tied to a fence post, severely beaten, robbed, tortured and left alone to die. His body - battered, bloody, barely clinging to life - was discovered eighteen hours later. He was rushed to the hospital and put on life support. He died five days later. The reason for this brutal crime? Matthew Shepard was gay.

Help us meet our participation goal and make your 2017 pledge!
We consider our
participation goal  as equal in importance to our  financial goal .  We clearly asked every person who considers St. Martin's to be their church to make a pledge as an expectation of membership. 276 member households  responded affirmatively.  We need 24 more households to meet our participation goal of 300 pledging units.

Pledge Envelopes Available for Pickup
If you requested giving envelopes on your 2017 pledge, please stop by the Parish House lobby to pick them up. If you are no longer interested in using giving envelopes, perhaps because you have transitioned to automated online giving, please be sure to let Natalee know so that your number may be reassigned to someone else.
Capital Improvement Giving Opportunities
  • New Fence for Playground: The wood picket fence around the playground is falling apart and presents a danger to children, as well as a shabby look to our neighbors and guests. We need $7,000 to replace this fence.
  • New Fence for Rectory: The fence around the Rector's Garden is rotting and tipping over. We need $4,000 to replace this fence.
  • Parish Hall A/V System: We need a fully installed projector and screen system for the Parish Hall. This would allow us to use a larger variety of audio/video teaching tools in Adult Forum and other events. The whole installation would cost about $20,000.
