SEA CREST SCHOOL Performing Arts presents...
Thursday, March 9th  Friday, March 10th
7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Kohrs Family Center
Sea Crest School
This year, Sea Crest School is proud to present  Seussical, a whimsical musical adventure based on the famous books of Dr. Seuss.
In this story, Horton, our hero, hears a noise coming from a speck of dust on a clover and commits himself to protecting it and the Whos who live on it. Jojo, a misfit Who who “doesn’t Think normal Thinks,” struggles to find his place in the tiny Who society while Gertrude McFuzz tries to catch the attention of her love - the kind and compassionate Horton. Through mishaps and adventures, these unique characters finally find what they seek - their places in their world.
From start to finish,  Seussical promises to be a fun journey for the whole family through the imaginative world of Dr. Seuss!
Reserve Your Tickets!
This year, we will magically transform our very own Kohrs Family Center to host the musical on campus. This offers many advantages, including the ability to rehearse on campus and increased seating. It also reduces the number of necessary performance nights from four to two, with lower school students only required to perform one night. There will be two evening performances held on Thursday, March 9th and Friday, March 10th.

Tickets will be on sale in the Kohrs Family Center lobby for $25 each from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 10th and Monday, February 13th. At that time, families will be able to purchase up to four guaranteed tickets for one night. If you are unable to pick up your tickets on the 10th or 13th, please email [email protected]. The school will make every effort to hold tickets for all parents of performers (at the front desk for pick-up) until Friday, February 17th.

Unclaimed tickets will be sold on Tuesday, February 28th from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for as long as tickets last. At that time, each family may purchase up to four additional tickets. All Musical performances typically sell out.
Performance Information
  • Middle School performers will take the stage both evenings

  • Each Lower School class will perform on one evening.

What to Expect the Night of the Show
Shows begin at 7:00 p.m. and will end at approximately 8:20 p.m.

Staggered Drop-off: 5:30, 6:00, & 6:20 p.m. There is a staggered drop-off for performers to facilitate costuming. Middle School performers and crew should arrive at the Kohrs Family Center by 5:45 p.m, performers in Grades 3-5 should arrive at the Theatre by 6:15 p.m., and K-2 performers should arrive at the Theatre by 6:30 p.m.

Parent Volunteers: Parent volunteers are still needed to assist behind the scenes with the show. We encourage parents to volunteer to help supervise backstage on the evening that you are not in the audience. Volunteers are also needed to help strike the stage and clean-up following the performance on Friday night. This is a great opportunity to earn some valuable Honorable Hours. Each year, the musical relies on the strength of volunteers.

We appreciate your partnership in supporting our vibrant performing arts program and we look forward to another magical year as your children take the stage!

Thank You
