NORTH STATE BIA INDUCTS 2017 LEADERSHIP TEAM
 
ROSEVILLE - The North State Building Industry Association (BIA) held its Installation of Officers Gala on Friday, bringing together more than 340 homebuilders, trade contractors, associates and local elected officials at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento.

Now in its 74th year, the event honored incoming Chair Andy Davidson, Vice President of Construction at Anton Development Company, the 2017 Executive Committee and Board of Directors, as well as a number of special award recipients. Todd Bird and Tim Lantz, hosts of The KFBK Home Show served as the Masters of Ceremonies, while the installing officer was Jeff Pemstein, Division President for Homes by Towne and 2017 California Building Industry Association Chair.

"I am humbled to take on this leadership role and look forward to working closely with my peers and the BIA to ensure that our industry continues to move forward," said Andy Davidson, Vice President of Construction at Anton Development Company and the North State BIA's 2017 Chair. "As the greater Sacramento region continues to evolve, it is more important than ever to work toward responsible public policy that cultivates a healthy building climate." 

In addition to Andy Davidson, the North State BIA's Executive Committee is comprised of Rachel Bardis, Vice Chair/Treasurer, Bardis Homes; Phil Rodriguez, Secretary, Lewis Planned Communities; and Joe Killinger, Immediate Past Chair, KB Home. The 2017 Board of Directors also includes Rich Balestreri, Tim Lewis Communities; Baynes Bank, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage; Aren Bazzocco, Taylor Morrison; Kevin Carson, The New Home Company; Dragos Cojocaru, The New Home Company; John Costa, Pacific Gas & Electric; Jeremy Goulart, Homes by Towne; Denton Kelley, LKD Ventures, LLC; Michael LaFortune, Easton Development Company, LLC; Brendan Leonard, Anthem United; Lori Moreci, Meritage Homes; Lisa Nicolls, Murphy Austin Adams Schoenfeld, LLP; John Ralston, Moxie Shield LLC; Mike Wyatt, K. Hovnanian Homes, Inc.; and Kevin Yttrup, Premier Homes.
 
During the installation, the individuals below were also honored for their support of the North State BIA and their contributions to the home building industry.
