Woodbridge Main Library will present  Rosa Parks: First Lady of Civil Rights by Alex Ford on Thursday, February 23 at 7:00 PM at the Woodbridge Main Library (1 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge, NJ). This program is free and open to the public. The program is funded by the  Horizons Speakers Bureau of the  New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. This program is produced by the  American Historical Theatre.

Facilitator Jim Rose, M Ed Rutgers University, is a former executive with Johnson and Johnson.  By the time he retired, he was senior vice president in charge of quality management for the J&J Pharmaceutical Group worldwide. Part of Jim’s global responsibilities was teaching conflict resolution through collaboration, the need for respecting and caring for one another, and the necessity of working toward win-win outcomes. As a member of  Science of Spirituality , Jim brings his skills to the organization, leading workshops focused on meditation and spirituality and their practical application to daily life. He has spoken all over the world: from throughout the United States and Europe to Dubai and India.  This program is free and no registration is required.

    Have you always wanted to learn how to code? Want to make cool projects you can share with friends? Join our Winter Coding Club!  Our club will use Google CS First to learn computer science skills and create cool, functional projects that you can show off to your friends and add to on your own!   The program runs for 8 sessions, and students must be able to commit to participating in the first 4 sessions at the minimum. It will be held in the BEC room on the third floor of the Main Library. Open to grades 6-12. Space is limited and registration is required, so sign up today!

      For students, Kindergarten - grade 5, who need some help with a particular subject area.  This program is conducted in the Children's Room of the Main Library and is open to Woodbridge Township residents. There is no registration for this program, students may sign-up 15 minutes before program starts in the Children's Room and will have 30 minutes on a first-come basis.  Homework Help is provided by volunteer retired educators and is not intended as a substitute for  Woodbridge School District Special Services.
