Attention Advocates: Opportunity to Participate in Research Study
The George Washington University (GW) Cancer Center is developing resources to promote effective interactions between patients and providers throughout cancer care. We will create an interdisciplinary team-based training for providers on how to meaningfully improve engagement of cancer patients of diverse backgrounds in their cancer care.
We invite you to participate in our
national survey
to help us develop the most useful and relevant training possible. To be eligible to take the survey, you must:
- Be a patient navigator of any type (e.g., nurse navigator, patient navigator who is not a nurse, other professional who provides individualized assistance to patients to remove barriers to accessing and/or adhering to cancer care)
- Work primarily with cancer patients at any point in the cancer continuum
- Work in the United States
The survey is part of a research project and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary and information will be kept confidential. The potential risk to participants is minimal. Interested participants have the option to provide their contact information after the survey to enter a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card.
