Chess Championship XI  - March 5, 2017

Dear Chess Enthusiasts,

This is your last chance to get some practice games in before the NYS Championships the following weekend in Saratoga.  Our next Championship tournament will be held on the Upper West Side at Manhattan Day School.

PS 9
The higher sections continue to have longer time controls (see below), while the Beginner, Novice and Elementary remain G/30 (or G/25; d/5) for the younger players.

Our Beginner section (K-1) remains unrated by the US Chess Federation.

Any players participating in the Beginner section do not have to pay USCF dues and do not need to be a USCF member. Clocks will not be used in this section
and it is not necessary to notate either.

All other sections will remain USCF rated as always.

We have over 100 giant awards to give away, so come join us for a good time on March 5th!

Hope to see you there!
