To My Community, Colleagues, Students and Friends,

As we enter this new and very hectic year, with all the violence and chaos and new policies affecting us and those from all around the world, let's not forget to remember our environment. I have been reflecting on it and have written a new blog,  "Saving Our Lives and Planet: Bringing thee Future into the Psychological Present."  Yes, by bringing an awareness of the future into the present is essential, because it's in the present moment where we can take action, redirect, or resolve something. This is core to all our lives and key to our well-being. Take some time to explore what this means to you.

These are brief yet powerful and are designed to stimulate our ongoing personal development, giving us something to think about once a week. My Website
Visit my website at  www.drdaviddaniels.com .  It includes plenty of articles and information for you to read, and ASK DAVID page, which I encourage you to visit, and it also includes the Matrix of all 45 Possible Relationship Combinations of the types . Also, there are vital articles, personality type descriptions, videos and podcasts, and paths of development for each of us, and much more.

Lastly, may this new year spark your commitment to personal development. There are many practices on my website and in the monthly blogs. Ending what ails us, violence included, requires a deeper understanding that the process of personal  development can provide. W e all get reactive and upset each day, and it's not pleasant. Stay committed to our personal work, the work of knowing ourself, the work of understanding when and how we get triggered, as it's this self-awareness work that can transform our lives and our relationships.

It's a great privilege to share my work with you. I so appreciate your staying connected and for being a part of this community of seekers.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcomed; I so enjoy the conversation.

Much Love,

 David

BLOG OVERVIEW:   Saving Our Lives and Planet: Bringing the Future into the Psychological Present

We live in stressful times with much conflict, greed, and violence in the world. Population growth continues as well as material growth and increases in wealth. There are current predictions that say we will eventually run out of basic resources, such as energy and water, and our rain forests. Yet each year we create further debt, regarding material resource utilization. These projections get ignored. Why?

Resource utilization is fundamental to life. A rapidly changing world with multiple demands further limits our ability to bring a critical awareness of a challenging future into our psychological present.
Recall that anger comes when we have the experience of personal violation, especially when our hopes and goals are dashed and interfered with.

Anger gets experienced in the present moment, we want to take action in order to prevent exploitation, and the future goes off the screen unless we have the self-observation capacity to pause, get grounded, and take time to determine what course of action is best. For more content on our experience of anger ...  Read More >>
