MUSLIM TRAVEL BAN
 
Trump's approval rating just 36% in his first week in offic e  according to a new Quinnipiac poll.
 
On Friday, Jan. 27, Trump signed an Executive Order banning Immigrants/Refugees from 7 Muslim countries. Protesters across the nation  opposed Muslim ban. Travelers from these countries were being barred from entering the U.S. until a NY judge blocked Trumps order.
 
Over the weekend, protests were held at airports around the county, such as this one at LAX. Click here to read how LA's Iranian-American community feels the effects of the President's travel ban.
 
These actions and maybe more to follow, remind us that we have to seek justice. Support those organizations who fight for justice such as the ACLU and  CAIR among  others.



REPEL EVIL WITH THAT WHICH IS BETTER
 
The latest map by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) shows 30 hate groups in So Cal
 
A mosque in Victoria, Texas was destroyed by fire . By the grace of God, an outpouring of donations to a GoFundMe page that had been set up to rebuild the mosque has already reached its goal. The local Rabbi has given the Muslims the key to the Synagogue for their prayer services.
 
In Quebec City, Canada, six people have died and many wounded after a gunman opens fire in a mosque, one man has been charged, officials call him a "l one wolf".
 
We encourage the community to take extra security precautions and consult our Mosque Operations Manual section on Safety/Security or request a copy of CAIR's Mosque Safety Guide.
