February 2017

Santa Fe TTN is organized and led entirely by volunteers.

Co-Coordinators' Corner
Rachel Greenstein & Robin Sarkissian
It's February and as Valentine's Day approaches, love is in the air! We would like to take a moment to show our love and appreciation for our members and potential members. How can we help you to get the most out of your Santa Fe TTN experience? Help us to know you better. What is it that you enjoy in your local TTN chapter and what is it you would like to see more of? Are there issues that are of interest to you that you would want to explore with us? Philanthropic causes you want to help? Activities you want to participate in or other information you would like to gain? With input from you, we can shape your experience to get the most out of your TTN chapter. Without you, we cannot thrive and grow.

January's meeting on travel with Ann Sager, Jessica Christensen and Barbara Brown-Allen, showed us we can live our dreams and travel far and wide - or even close to home! - for amazing life changing experiences. If money and time were no object, where would you go and why? What were some of your most memorable travel experiences, exotic or local?

A huge thank you to Sue Burgess for tirelessly acting as our chapter co-coordinator for the last year. I will be taking over for Sue and working with Rachel as your new co-coordinator. I look forward to getting to know you better in the coming months. As I get to know you, I want to know what you would like to get out of your membership with the Santa Fe Chapter of TTN.  Please think about some of the questions in this column and send me your answers at my email address: [email protected]

Please join us for the February meeting: Jean Palmer will help us understand whether we are more Right-Brain or Left-Brain dominant, which we prefer and how to use time most effectively.

We are looking for members to coordinate Social, Venues and Membership.
Please contact Rachel Greenstein    [email protected]
or Robin Sarjussian    [email protected] if you're interested.

Come learn which is more dominant for you and how you can be a more effective time manager.

Jean Palmer, the founder of our TTN Santa Fe Chapter, will be our presenter. Prior to moving to Santa Fe, she had her own company for 35 years - Jean C. Palmer, Training for Success and Excellence.

ONE Weekend  - TWO Events!

TTN members were well represented throughout the historic Women's March on Washington, Santa Fe on January 21st, joining approximately 12,000 locals!  "The homemade signs were creative, clever and had many messages, some serious, some humorous. I was impressed by the wide variety of people there."  " It was so impressive, inspiring and wonderful."  "It gave me a lot of hope that people still care a lot about important issues."  The march was part of a much larger movement, occurring simultaneously in large and small cities worldwide!

Rounding out the weekend was a fantastic concert, Give Me Music by the New Mexico Peace Choir. J ean Palmer and Linda McEnroe, both TTN members, belong to the choral ensemble whose mission is, through actions and voices, to make a positive change in the collective
consciousness. "The music was exciting, complex, moving & sometimes poignant, perfectly performed, & oh so timely!"  "It really was wonderful & uplifting." The concert was presented both in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.

Tell Us What You'd Like To Do This Year!
