A Safe Haven for Animals
In this issue:
A Message of Gratitude
Waylon
Abby
Lil Bit

Gratitude is something we feel each and every day here at Sonoma Humane So ci ety and the Healdsburg Center for Animals.

It's in the contented stretch of a cat who, thanks to medical care and healing sn uggles, has recovered from a respiratory infection. It's in the confident prance of a once cowering dog who is now able to enjoy a walk, a game of fetch and companionship. It's seeing the love in the faces of people who adopt these animals, so eager to give them the full, happy lives they de serve.

And for animals like Clover (above), Waylon, Abby, Lil Bit and others  who are still waiting for forever homes, we are grateful knowing we can give them a warm bed to sleep in tonight. We are grateful we can work to heal them physically and emotionally, and offer them the hope of finding homes of their own.

As we approach Thanksgiving, we want to express our gratitude to YOU! Your kindness and support make it all possible!

Whether you contribute your time or money, you are putting compassion into our community and that is a very powerful thing. It feels good to care for each other and these furry beings who bring so much love to our lives.

Thank you for being a part of the work that we do - for the animals!
