Free Fitness Assessment
For those who want to get moving more, but aren't sure where to start, the Wellness Program is offering FREE personal Fitness Assessments.
In these 30-45 minute meetings, we will test aerobic capacity, strength and flexibility. Based on results, a personalized fitness plan will be created.

CWRU Wellness Wins Silver Award
This month, the CWRU Wellness Program was awarded the 2016 Healthy Worksite Silver Medal. This award recognizes Ohio employers who demonstrate commitment to employee wellness through comprehensive worksite health promotion and wellness programs. 
Free Webinars from Weight Watchers
Each month, Weight Watchers offers webinars on topics like healthy cooking and success stories. These webinars are free to everyone, no membership required. The next webinar, The Weight Watchers Experience, is on Thursday, 2/9 at Noon.

Fitness is on the agenda for February. Over 350 of you are currently participating in our on-line fitness competition, HealthTrails. That is 90 more folks than last year! We have a Workstation Workout class planned for Wednesdays at lunch and after work group fitness opportunities on Monday and Thursday with SpartanFit. In addition, we are introducing free fitness assessments for faculty and staff.

Cold weather and shorter days can make getting that workout in a little more challenging, but we are here to support you!

You CAN get stronger in 45 minutes or less 2-3 times a week!

Workstation workout is a six week strength training class designed t
o give you a portable workout. The Wellness program provides the resistance band and the workouts each week, all you need to do is find a few more times a week to repeat the workout.

Now is the Time to Get SpartanFIT
Join these Evening Workouts at Veale!
 
SpartanFIT is back!  Stay late two evenings a week and get a great workout with Turbo Kick, a combination of kickboxing and HIIT training.
Classes take place on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 in the Veale Multi-Purpose Room.
Classes begin Monday February 6 and run through Thursday May 4th. (no class Feb 20-23 or March 16-20) 

The cost for faculty/staff is only $20.00 for the 10 weeks
OR $3.00 drop in rate per class. Please pay in cash.
