OLD SR 74 ACCESS TO SR 32 WILL BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY BEGINNING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2017
Additional closures related to Aicholtz work remain in place
Reestablishing through access on Aicholtz Road between Mt. Carmel-Tobasco Road and Eastgate Boulevard is a major improvement project that is currently under construction.

As a result of this ongoing work, there are several closures being put into place while construction continues to reopen this important east-west county artery.
  • Beginning Monday, February 6, 2017, Old SR 74 access to SR 32 will be closed permanently. While drivers adjust to this new pattern of traffic, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will closely monitor and adjust traffic signals in this area.
  • Also beginning Monday, February 6, 2017, Old SR 74 will be closed between the intersections of Mt. Carmel-Tobasco Road and Aicholtz Road/Rust Lane. This closure will be in place through April 28, 2017. Residential traffic will be maintained within the closed area. All businesses along Old SR 74 must be accessed via Mt. Carmel-Tobasco Road.
  • Continuing now through Friday, March 24, 2017, Forest Trail is now closed approximately 140-feet south of Old SR 74.
  • The closure at the intersection of Old SR 74 on Aicholtz Road/Rust Lane remains in place through Friday, April 28, 2017.
Following are several detour maps highlighting these closures. Please note that local access for residential traffic will be maintained, and modified access to local businesses will be marked by signage.
