City Manager Desk

As many of you have noticed, the City of Perry is changing rapidly.  Some of the changes are negative (more litter), but most are positive (vibrant downtown, etc.).  One of the significant changes is the interest in community artistic expression.  Whether it is the Perry Music Festival, student art shows, Big Band concerts, metal sculptures or even the New Year's Eve Buzzard Drop, artistic expression is here and growing stronger.  Your input as to the type, timing, funding and locations of public art will shape the future look of the city.  Soon you will receive a survey from the Perry Public Arts Commission.  Please, take time to complete and return by mail or on our website.  It's your community.  Tell us how you wish it to look.

Sincere Regards,
R. Lee Gilmour
City Manager

Wilcox or Cpl.
