Master's Table Soup Kitchen
Saturday, February 25, 8:15 AM - 10:30 PM
The Master's Table Soup Kitchen at 702 Fenwick Street will be staffed and sponsored by Saint Paul's Church volunteers Saturday, February 25. The Prep Team works from 8:15 - 10:30
AM. This is a great opportunity to get to know other parishioners while chopping, stirring, and preparing lunch.
Please note a change for this ministry
in 2017. Because this is an extremely gratifying experience, the Soup Kitchen has more servers than they need. Therefore, the Saint Paul's team will prepare lunch only, to give other groups an opportunity to serve. Since persons under age 18 are not allowed to work in the kitchen, this opportunity will now be limited to adults only.
Contact Marilyn Grau for more information or to volunteer.

YOU can make a difference at the Mardi Gras!
Saturday, February 25, 6:30 PM
The River Room
Mardi Gras makes a difference! Proceeds from Mardi Gras enable Saint Paul's to fund our Manna Pantry. Last year Manna Pantry purchased and distributed 900 boxes of pantry staples to families in need. Just this past Manna Pantry on January 28th we supplied food for 168 boxes!! The need in our community continues to be a dire one.
So come join the Mardi Gras fun and support our Saint Paul's Outreach ministries.
You will enjoy fine New Orleans cuisine including jambalaya, gumbo, creole pasta (vegetarian), salad & corn bread. On the dessert table there will be sweet potato bread pudding, bananas foster, and of course King Cake !! Listen to the live music of Swingsation, a 16-piece band. Dance the night away to classics like I Left my Heart in San Francisco or party music like YMCA. So come hungry and ready to boogie. See you February 25 in the River Room.
Tickets ($50) available Sunday after the 11 AM service, in the parish office and online.

SILENT AUCTION
Many thanks to everyone for your fabulous response with donations for our live and silent auctions for MARDI GRAS. Here's what we still could use: experiences. What exactly does that mean? Experiences like football games, art classes, coffee tastings, trips, just to give some examples. Of course we aren't limited to those items... use your imagination! If you think it is fun, someone else likely will too! The last day to receive donations is
February 12. Donations can be brought to the church office. Please
email Sallie West
with donations or questions or call her at (804) 928-1562.
