Our Mission:
Our mission is to bring alumni together, celebrating the past successes of our schools while supporting the future generations of Lawrence Township.

Once again we are honored to share the many successes of Lawrence Township alumni, and we are so proud of the four LT alumni spotlighted below who recently entertained audiences here in Indianapolis. If you have a story to share about yourself or a former classmate, please send it our way, so we can spotlight you or them.

Our annual "Light Their Future" Celebration is only a month away. This is a great chance to get together with old friends, maybe see a former teacher or classmate, and support our schools.

Wishing you a month full of wonderful LT memories!

In an interview with t he  Indy Star  while  Davis was in town, he had this to say about his current role as Capt. von Trapp: "It's so funny because the way I've been directed to play it in this production is so different from the way I've played either shows. I can't imagine playing it any other way than I am now."

Carrington Clinton, Lawrence North Class of 2009
Carrington Clinton, a 2009 Lawrence North High School graduate, is one of the four Art & Soul featured artists playing in this year's Art & Soul series, the 21st edition of Black History Month performances. In an interview with the Indy Star, Clinton said he studied video production and creative writing at Ball State University after graduating from LN. Since then, he has played drums and been the leader of Clint Breeze & the Groove, which won 2016's
13-night "Battle Royale" band competition at Birdy's nightclub. Clinton's band is set to perform on February 11th. "We're going to bring our typical live, energetic, emphatic show that's very tailored for crowd reaction," said Clinton. Clinton produced all of the music in the band's current album, "Nappy Head", but you won't hear much of his voice if you listen to it. He said he gives the rapping group ideas and what he's thinking of for each song, but has them put their own spin on it. We wish him and the band the best of luck on their upcoming performance! If you'd like to see them play, visit here for more info.

Taylar Green, Lawrence Central Class of 2012
Taylar Green, a Lawrence Central High School graduate, danced at the Art & Soul series on February 1st. According to Indy Arts Guide, Green began her dance training in Mobile, Alabama, at Carol Graham School of Dance. After that, she attended Alabama School of Fine Arts as a dance major. After relocating to Indianapolis in 2009, Green began dancing with the Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre (GHDT) as a student of the Academy, where she studied ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, Bollywood, and traditional Kathak. After graduating from LN, Green attended Texas Christian University where she worked with notable choreographers, training in ballet and pointe. After graduating in 2016, she joined GHDT as a company member. Her performance at the Art & Soul series included a piece that originated at GHDT. "It's a simple piece, mostly inspired by the beauty of movement and the beauty of two people moving together," said Green. She will appear in six "Black Dahlia" performances at GHDT, scheduled for February 4th-19th. If you'd like to see her perform, visit here for more info.

It is an honor to share all the great things our alumni do. Next month we will be highlighting alumni who met their significant other at MSDLT--"Matches Made in MSDLT". Please be sure to pass along any news you have to the Foundation. Click here to send an email.
