The SBA video production class gets a tour of the school's new collaborative classroom, featuring studio and editing space, from Mr. Smith. The new space includes a stage backdrop system, lighting grid, projection system, and upgraded computers loaded with professional video editing software and storage.  These investments not only expand student capabilities for planning, scripting, recording, and producing media; students also get opportunities to gain skills in real-world collaboration and media project management using state-of-the-art technology.

THEOLOGY CLASS
Student projects

For the next few weeks, all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are studying the Theology of the Body curriculum, which is based on a series of 129 talks that Pope John Paul II gave over the course of his papacy.  The series we use is called "Theology of the Body for Teens" from Ascension Press.  Miss Violi's freshmen and sophomores will be doing a project for their assessment.  They can choose from one of three topics, which includes interviewing people about the meaning of life, the corporal works of mercy, marriage and love, and the spiritual meaning of the body.
