  • 26: Bible 101 at The Factory, 6 p.m. in the Youth Room. Open to all. Runs through March 5.
  • 25: Men's Night Out for FFUMC men and male youth, 6:30 p.m. at The Factory
March
  • 1:  Ash Wednesday. The church will be open from 7 to 8 a.m. for those who wish to receive ashes. The evening service is at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
  • 4: Aroma United Methodist Church Chicken Noodle Dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Good will offering. Proceeds go to their Open Arms Food Pantry.
  • 18: Our next Tenderloin Dinner will be Saturday, March 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Factory

April

  • 13: Holy Thursday service at 7 p.m. at the church
  • 14: Good Friday Community Service (TBD)

Men's Night Out Scheduled for Feb. 25
FFUMC Men: Add Feb. 25 to your calendars and join in this event for male youth at The Factory. 

It's a great opportunity to meet some of our youth and have a meal and fellowship with them. It starts at 6:30 p.m. If you have any questions, contact Dan Knotts or Rod Compton.

Noodles for Eagle Packs
Paul Everest is taking orders for homemade noodles.
Proceeds will be donated to the Eagle Packs program. Two bags sell for $5. Contact Paul at
everestpm@hotmail.com , or the church office to place advanced orders. Delivery will be to the church.

Don't forget, Eagle Packs is now officially a not-for-profit agency!  If you would like to make a donation please write your checks to Eagle Pack Ministries.  If you would like to mail a donation, the address is: Eagle Pack Ministries, P.O. Box 107, Frankton IN, 46044.  

You also can continue to turn in donations to our church and Eagle Packs will get them. Remember donations are tax deductible! 

Aroma UMC's Chicken and Noodle Dinner is March 4
The Aroma United Methodist Church invites everyone to their chicken and noodle dinner. It will be held Saturday, March 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. at their church. The cost is a free will offering that supports their food pantry.  Dinner includes chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, dessert and a drink. They also serve great food and great fellowship! 

Our First Tenderloin Dinner is March 18
ALL HANDS ON DECK  March 18  for our first tenderloin dinner of the year. It takes an incredible number of workers to make this evening a success. If you have never volunteered at one of these meals, please join us for the fun and fellowship as we begin work at  10 a.m.  scrubbing potatoes then go full force from 2 to about  8 p.m.  when the dining room and kitchen are finally cleaned up. 
 
The sign-up tablet will be ready  next Sunday . Mark your calendar for this important date. 

Podcast "Beyond the Worship" Available on FFUMC Website
Beyond the Worship is a new podcast produced by Nick Smith, NOW music directory.
You will find a new podcast on our website. Each week "Beyond The Worship" explores the Sunday worship topic further. 

What is a podcast? It is a digital audio file available online for downloading to a computer or mobile device. Podcasts are typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.

You can find our Beyond the Worship podcasts on our website under the "About" tab, as well as on FFUMC's SoundCloud page

Beyond the Worship digs deeper into the sermon topic of the previous Sunday. We will have guests from our church and community join us. Look for updates weekly. 

Cookbook Recipes Sought
The Frankton First UMC Women's Fellowship will publish a new cookbook this spring. Proceeds from the sale of the book will help fund the Women's Fellowship scholarship program. Collection boxes are located in the sanctuary and at The Factory.

Upper Rooms Available
The daily devotional guide, The Upper Room, is available in regular or large print. Copies are in the wire racks at church and The Factory. The March-April edition is in the racks now. Copies are free, so enjoy!

Save the Date...Aug. 31, Youth Serving Christ Golf Scramble
Join individuals who want to bring Jesus Christ into the lives of our youth. Youth Serving Christ will hold a Florida Scramble tournament on Thursday, Aug. 31. The event will take place at the Killbuck Gold Course, 3181 N. 200 E., Anderson.

Put a team of four together and join in this worthy cause. Individual cost is $65; team cost is $260. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. Registration and lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Don't Forget Donations to the Frankton Food Pantry
Current needs for the food pantry are: canned vegetables (other than corn or green beans), soups, canned fruit and personal hygiene items. Bins are located at the church and The Factory. Donations of eggs or butter also are welcome. Those would go directly to the pantry. Contact the Frankton Christian Church, 754-8660, to make arrangements to take perishable items there.

The food pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesdays. It is located at the Frankton Christian Church's Family Life Center.  Thanks for your  extravagant generosity !
