Using copper plates & non-toxic techniques, this workshop will introduce contemporary & traditional approaches to hard ground, drypoint, aquatint & spit bite to produce line, texture and tone. Students will create a plate, which can be transferred to additional plates for multiple color prints. They will learn how to mix & modify color inks, hand wipe the plate, register & print proofs, and begin a small edition. Daily demos & individualized instruction. All levels welcome
