NEWS FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL
Wolcott students recently completed our 4th Annual Career Week , where students devoted time to  refining communication skills,  developing resumes,  learning the art of self-branding, and visiting workplaces throughout Chicago-land.  Based on personal interest inventories, students traveled in small groups to visit a range of professionals, including programmers, doctors, chefs, runaway hotline coordinators, bicycle designers , and many more.  Studies show that success in the future is dependent on preparing students now for the ever-changing workplace. By helping our students develop academic skills as well as gain exposure to a wide range of careers, we are working hard to ensure our students' success in high school, college, and beyond.

WAY TO GO, WOLVES!

Varsity Boys Basketball captured 2nd place in the Lake Shore Athletic League Tournament Championship Game.

4th ANNUAL CAREER WEEK
At Wolcott, we are passionate about Career Week and consider it a fundamental part of our curriculum. A recent article in Education Week noted, " Students need to be great communicators, collaborators, and critical-thinkers that can tackle novel problems. In order to prepare students to be really ready for their futures, we must define what that means for them now, not just once they graduate high school." During Career Week and throughout the year, we work towards achieving just that!
