Shrine Center Bridge Club has a busy, busy February with a lot of Bridge-playing opportunities for you!  We have our weekly   Monday and Wednesday night Stratified Pairs, Thursday night Handicap Swiss Teams, Friday Morning Free Lectures, Supervised Play and for the month of February we are adding our annual Super Bowl Sunday event, and Charity Week.

Handicapped Swiss Teams
Thursdays, February 2, 9, 16 & 23, 2017 at 6:30pm

Get the edge you need to compete with the experts and level the playing field! It doesn't matter whether you're an expert or a beginner - the handicap ensures that everyone has a chance to win. A masterpoint based handicap is added to your score for each match. 

How It Works 
  • Recruit a team of four of any level of players, or let us get you one.
  • First round match assignments are made randomly.
  • During the first round, your score is adjusted by an IMP handicap based upon your masterpoint holding.
  • The match winner is determined by the score after the handicap has been added in.
  • Each successive round is matched by ACBL score and the handicap is again calculated and added to determine the winner.
  • Handicapping "levels the playing field" of the 2 teams.

Annual Super Bowl Event
Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 12:30pm 
12 noon lunch
12:30pm stratified open game

Before the Patriots and the Falcons hit the field for Super Bowl 51, spend the pre-game with your friends at the Shrine Center and enter (at no charge) our Super Bowl pool*.

Join us for the afternoon and you will be home before kick-off!

*Prizes for the winner of each quarter and awarded the next time the winners come into play.
