"Now is a good time to sell" Anyone heard this line before? We need listings. You need listings more than ever! Our overall inventory of active listings is down 31% from this time a year ago; 685 listings or about one for every VBR member. Inventory and average days on market are down while selling price, pending sales and percent of asking price (sold) are all up. Given a 6 month supply of inventory (overall), we have transitioned into a seller's market. Now this determination may vary from one area to another and it will vary by price range. So when a prospective seller asks "should I list now or wait until Spring?" You know the answer. Below is the complete January sales report and the area reports can be found on the members side of our website under documents.
A few quick updates from the Eagle Air Alliance:
1. New Washington Dulles service is performing at or above expectations with overall bookings at over 60% for the season and a strong revenue performance in December
2. New Phoenix service is pacing to goals with overall bookings over 60% for the season with bookings pace still surging for the remainder of the season
3. Toronto service is operating for 9 weeks starting January 29 and pacing ahead of last year for the season long performance
