Interested in Advocacy?

St. Austin is putting together an advocacy team of people who would like to make phone calls or visit lawmakers or email them on certain issues at certain times when the Texas Catholic Conference sends out alerts. This team of parishioners can be as involved as they want to be. For more information contact Pat Macy.

The Texas Catholic Conference (TCC) is forming a "Rapid Response Advocacy Team" in which people can receive an email when they have last minute requests for people to come down to the capital. Since our parish and St. Mary's Cathedral are the closest Catholic parishes to the capital, the TCC is asking for our help. Sign up for email alerts at txcc.org.
JustFaith: Crossing Borders

JustFaith will begin an eight-week module on the theme of Crossing Borders, beginning Wed., Mar. 7 at 7-9:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Guadalupe Room. This theme is pertinent to current issues surrounding immigration and migration both in our State of Texas and at the national level.
