| REMINDER: Spirit Day is Coming on Friday, Feb 24th
|
Show your school spirit on Friday! Dress in your favorite Matsunaga or Longview spirit wear OR simply wear school or grade-level colors:
Blue or Green for Matsunaga and Red or Yellow for Longview. All MES spirit wear (including grey Gecko shirts), even if not fully green or blue, "counts"! Grade-level colors are as follows:

2-YELLOW
3-PURPLE

5-BLUE

The top TWO
classes from each grade level at Matsunaga will win a prize! The top
TWO
classes at Longview will win a banner for their classroom!
Still in need of a class shirt? Additional shirts in all sizes (including adult sizes for the green and blue shirts) are arriving this week. Also available the Ladies Blue "Football" Tees.
Class shirts are $15 and the Football tees are $25.
To order, please send cash or check(made payable to MES/LV PTA) and indicate the color and size needed in an envelope marked PTA President.

Girls on the Run REGISTER NOW! Season begins 3/14! |
Girls on the Run is for 3rd-5th graders, helping them prepare for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living using interactive and creative running activities, games and discussion.
Each meeting includes an introduction, warm-up, a workout for girls of all ability levels. The season wraps up with a
5K Fun Run celebration on May 21st. For safety reasons, each girl is required to have a designated adult running buddy for the race. (Running buddies must register and pay a $25 race entry fee.)
- Participants: 3rd-5th grade girls
Meetings: Tuesdays and Thursdays at Matsunaga from 4:00pm - 5:15pm.
- Season dates: Begins March 14th, Ends May 25th. We do not meet on 1/2 days or when school is closed.
- GOTR MOCO 5K: Sunday, May 21st

Let Me Run REGISTER NOW! Season begins 3/14!

Let Me Run is much more than a running program for boys. The trained coaches combine running with fun activities and lessons to help boys learn teamwork, build relationship skills, create friendships, grow emotionally, amplify their self-esteem, empower themselves and others, and live an active lifestyle. We nurture and celebrate every aspect of what it really means to be a boy and we let them run with it.
