Waynesboro is the perfect destination to escape your stresses,to find some rest and relaxation, or to test your resolve in the trenches of a mud run. Waynesboro offers something for everyone! Come see where good nature comes naturally!
The Waynesboro Players present "Almost, Maine" at the Wayne Theatre just in time for Valentine's Day. Playful and surreal experiences are commonplace in the world of John Cariani's "Almost, Maine," where on one deeply cold and magical Midwinter Night, the citizens of Almost--not organized enough for a town, too populated for a wilderness--experience the life-altering power of the human heart. Relationships end, begin, or change beyond recognition, as strangers become friends, friends become lovers, and lovers turn into strangers.
A battle awaits you at Coyner Springs Park as we pay homage to our City's namesake, General "Mad" Anthony Wayne, with the 6th Annual Mad Anthony Mud Run! Our first five years have brought temperatures ranging from 9 degrees to 60 degrees. Are you ready for the challenge Mother Nature throws at you?
Whether you're perusing Waynesboro's downtown boutiques or wrapping up a winter hike in Shenandoah National Park, we have the coffee shops to raise your internal thermometer. Wrap your frozen hands around a cup of hot coffee at one of these favorite cafés, and you'll soon be warm enough to think about your next adventure!
