Dear Grace Church Family,
I am extremely happy to announce the return of the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner!
This will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to do a meet and greet with our new Rector, The Reverend Dr. Deborah White, and her family before her official start date on Ash Wednesday, March 1.
As most of you know we do a pancake breakfast every Sunday during Lent, between services, as a way for the 8:00 and the 10:00 members to get together. Rev. Deb mentioned that eating pancakes for dinner on Fat Tuesday (aka Shrove Tuesday) has been a long-standing Church tradition that has sadly fallen by the wayside. The idea just ballooned from there. So what we will do is an Open House in the Parish Hall from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Tuesday, February 28, and you're welcome to come in at any time for pancakes, sausages, eggs, coffee, tea & juice during that time.
I am very excited about the direction we are heading and I look forward to seeing you on Shrove Tuesday, February 28. If you can't make it don't worry because we will do it again every Sunday in Lent starting March 5 which will be Rev. Deb's first Sunday with us.
